The two companies have been developing the idea for almost up to a year now, and it seems like just this week it's officially been put into its initial launch phase. In a blog post this Monday, Snapchat mentions that the 'visual search' function let's user take a picture of any real world item, and if Amazon recognizes the item, the user can purchase it instantly.
Not everyone has access to this function yet on the Snapchat App as it is still in its testing phase, but keep your eyes peeled for the official release!
Time for you shopaholics to add another weapon to the arsenal!
